HOW TO FIX CRAPPY INTERNET LEAD SHEETS PDF DOWNLOAD
If you’re writing your own leads sheets, and sometimes you get to the gig and they don’t sound ‘right,’ or, the piano player has his/her pencil out and is sketching in corrections: YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS VIDEO.
We can all find songs to use as the basis of making a lead sheet in our own key, from a wide variety of sources. Some sources are good, and some are not-so-good. There can sometimes be wrong melody notes, missing measures and certainly tons of questionable chords within of the not-so-good sources.
It would definitely be useful to have the skills to look at the changes on a song source and be able to determine if they are correct and jazz-friendly enough. And in this video, you will learn about the most common issues that come up in “crappy” lead sheets, and how to correct them. Only minimal theory knowledge required!
